We celebrate baptisms on special days during the liturgical year as
listed below. Whenever possible, adult baptisms occur once a year at the
Great Vigil of Easter.Adults who want to be baptized prepare by
embarking on
The Journey, weekly
classes that run from December through Easter.
Parents wishing to
baptize their children are asked to fill out a
baptismal information
sheet and turn it in to the parish office. Parents, godparents and
children attend a
preparation class prior to baptism.
Here's an
iTunes podcast by the Rev. Steve Best about traditional and more
modern paths to baptism, and about our various practices at St. Thomas.
